Our Work
Making restorative sleep a reality

What we do

We work in deep partnership with frontline organisations—including women’s refuges, foster care services, and crisis accommodation—to support children and families navigating trauma and upheaval.
By equipping these settings with evidence-based tools, calming sleep environments, and specialist training, we help make restorative sleep a reliable part of recovery—not a missing piece.
Because when sleep is nourishing, everything begins to change.
OUR CORE OFFERINGS
Nourishing sleep packs
Thoughtfully crafted, these Sleep Packs offer a gentle, effective pathway back to calm, rest, and connection.
Designed by a sleep therapist with 20 years of clinical practice—and shaped by her own healing from childhood trauma—each element is made to soothe the nervous system and gently support emotional regulation.
These trauma-informed tools are grounded in real-world results and early evidence, helping children build the lifelong skill of falling asleep independently. They also equip carers with simple, nurturing ways to create steady bedtime rhythms and healthy evening routines. Each pack includes:
- The Sleep & Dream Book: Beautifully illustrated with calming bedtime practices to foster emotional regulation.
-
The Good Sleep Guide for Parents: Practical, evidence-based guidance for easing evening struggles and improving sleep quality.
-
Drifting into Dreamland Audio: A gentle voice-led guide to help children unwind and sleep, while developing lifelong skills.
-
Amber Clip Light: A portable lamp that protects melatonin levels and turns any space into a sleep-supportive sanctuary.
- Soft Cloud Pillow: For comfort, grounding, and sensory support.
- Eye masks: To create a sense of darkness when needed.

Turning sleep spaces into sanctuaries
We turn overstimulating spaces into havens of safety and stillness.
For children and mothers healing from trauma, the space they sleep in can make all the difference. Bright lights, cluttered rooms, and harsh sounds can keep the nervous system alert—making rest nearly impossible.
We partner with crisis accommodation services to gently transform bedrooms and common areas into biologically sleep-supportive environments. These simple but powerful shifts help quiet the body, support emotional regulation, and make healing sleep possible. At each site, we:
- Conduct sleep-focused assessments to identify barriers to rest.
- Provide sensory-based upgrades and calming tools—like amber night lights, weighted blankets, and noise-reducing aids—to create a sense of safety, comfort, and easeful sleep.
- Where possible, we also collaborate with local artists to bring beauty and dignity to the space through soothing, child-friendly artwork.
Training professionals in sleep-focused care
We deliver trauma-informed training to frontline staff, caseworkers, and therapists—so they can confidently support children’s sleep, guide emotional regulation, and use rest as a foundation for healing.
Our training isn’t just informative—it’s restorative. Staff are resourced, supported, and inspired. It covers:
- Guiding families to use Sleep Packs effectively while introducing calming bedtime rhythms and tools that foster down-regulation, connection, and healing.
- Making Sleep Part of the Conversation: Using sleep as a gentle entry point to address deeper emotional needs.
- Creating Sleep-Friendly Environments: Ongoing support to embed restorative sleep into care culture.
- Sustaining Change: Offering ongoing guidance to ensure new practices take root, creating long-term improvements.
